Privacy Policy

Privacy Act 2020

This document outlines Grey Wolf Consulting Ltd (GWC)'s policy on handling personal information (including collection, use, disclosure and storage), which GWC is entitled to update from time to time (to be published here).   

GWC is subject to the Privacy Act 2020, which relevantly defines "personal information" as information about an identifiable individual, and the Act's information privacy principles in Part 3 (IPPs). 

Personal information GWC may collect and hold

GWC may collect and hold personal information including names and contact information (like email, address, organisation, phone number) from individuals which communicate directly with it for the purpose of enquiring about services or engaging GWC.  Generally, GWC will collect personal information when contacted by you via email, the webpage, or phone.  However, on some occasions, GWC may collect personal information from third parties including from other consultants (such as in the form of client referrals), in which case GWC will comply with IPP 2 or notify you and obtain your consent prior to obtaining any personal information from such third parties.  GWC will hold personal information locally on IT equipment here in New Zealand, accessible by GWC personnel only.   

Purposes of GWC collecting, holding, using and disclosing personal information

GWC collects, holds, uses and discloses your personal information for the overarching purposes of: carrying out services and performing its contractual obligations, enforcing its rights in relation to any contract, and to facilitate communications with its client.  

Other specific purposes for which GWC may collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information are to: respond to queries regarding GWC's services, operate GWC's webpage and to improve its services, and comply with any legal and regulatory requirements.  

Accessing and correcting your personal information

If you would like to see what personal information GWC holds about you, you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal information (by contacting info@greywolf.co.nz). 

If you discover that personal information GWC holds about you may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, please contact GWC (info@greywolf.co.nz) to ask for it to be corrected. 

If you have a privacy concern or complaint, please contact GWC in the first instance with an explanation of your complaint (using info@greywolf.co.nz).  If following notification to GWC, you are still unhappy, you may make a complaint to the Privacy Commissioner.
