Grey Wolf Consulting Ltd is a building surveying company specialising in Code Compliance and Certificates of Acceptance, Council processes and RFIs, and construction observation.

Director Kell Cairns has over 30 years in the construction industry. He is an expert in building regulatory, having spent the last 9 years with Auckland Council as a building inspector and Technical Assessor, achieving the highest rating on the National Competency Assessment Framework (NCAS), Residential 3 and Commercial 3. As part of his 6 years as a Technical Assessor he conducted technical audits of consents and on- and off-site audits of technical staff (building inspectors), and led work to assess building compliance and issues and developing proposed intervention solutions. He built strong and effective relationships within Council.
